The spun poly fabric is not soft as described and is very heavy. Heavy weight fabric in hot humid East Texas is not an asset. I was hoping since it was polyester that it would not attract as much lint; however, it is no different than cotton that way. This is important as our uniforms are black. The woman's chef coat fits better than unisex sizes and it doesn't wrinkle.

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have short arms and am always draaging my sleeves in the food. The short sleeves prevent that. The woman's chef coat has a better fit and contours the waist line. Excellent value for the price.
