The hats are great quality, but for the 9 year old girls at the b-day party and even for my 7 year old son, the hats were too small. They do have an elastic inside the hat for it to expand to fit the head but then the 2 ends/edges don't meet and there is a big open gap. Probably great for younger kids with small heads.
BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I used these for my daughters 8th birthday party. The girls had a great time decorating them but, when it came time for them to put them on they did not fit even though they are adjustable they hat a flapp flopping around. I had some left over and they were even too small for my son and nephews who range in age 4-6. Idea was great wish i had ordered the adult size. Shipping was fast the product itself was well made other than size. I would order from them again. I do not know what size childs head these would fit without the annoying flap thing since I tried it on kids ranging from 4-9 and it was too small across the board.
BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Hats were used for Vacation Bible School. The kids loved them. Our only issue was the hats adjustability range was too small--some kids have bigger heads. We were still able to use them with some modification.

These hats were cute and easy to decorate with Sharpie markers. Fit all sizes of kids from pre-school - 1o year olds. Only con was that I had to staple the backs in order for them to stay on the kids heads. Once stapled to fit each individual the hats were great and stayed on until the kids took them off.
