Originally established as King Menus in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1965, KNG got its start by designing and printing menus for restaurants in the region. Over the years, as our company grew, we noticed that menu covers had become increasingly important to our customers, and decided to shift our business focus to accommodate this changing need. However, to maintain the highest standards of quality and affordability that our company was founded on, we realized that we’d have to manufacture the menu covers ourselves. After building our own proprietary equipment and moving production to Idaho in 1996, we quickly grew into the menu cover market leader with our unmatched combination of quality, price and innovation.
As our client base grew, we began applying our expertise in menu cover manufacturing to the production of server and chef apparel. To continue delivering our customers the highest possible quality at industry-best prices, we’ve since developed long-term partnerships with global manufacturing facilities and continue to perform apparel embellishment in our US facility. To this day, we travel internationally four times a year to continually improve our manufacturing processes and reinforce our rigorous quality control standards.
