McDonald’s is also leading the Summer of Salads celebration with their own recently re-introduced Asian Salad, which will rest right alongside ten new salad dishes this summer. If you love the sheer taste of the fast-food giant’s popular Asian Salad, you’ll love it even more when you learn that it has less than 400 calories when served with grilled chicken.
Noodles & Company is fully diversifying and joining the festival with two fresh salads to their menu: the Backyard Barbeque Chicken Salad, which is stacked up with plenty of summertime favorites, and the Very Berry Spinach Salad.
Bruegger’s Bakeries are going full force, getting the feel of the Summer of Salads with not one or two, but five “Café Salads.” Heavily promoted in their table top displays are The Sesame Chicken Salad, Harvest Chicken Salad, Mandarin Medley, Classic Cobb and the all time favorite Chicken Caesar. Bruegger’s takes great pride in saying that all these salads have less than 330 calories.
